How it works

How a claim moves, from the first call to a decision

  1. 01

Step 1: You call or write

Tell us what happened in your own words, in English or Spanish. The first call is free.

  2. 02

Step 2: We read what you have

The injury report, doctor notes, pay stubs and any letters. If something is missing, we help you get it.

  3. 03

Step 3: We file or answer

We send the claim, or the reply to a denial, to the right office before the deadline, and tell you the date.

  4. 04

Step 4: We deal with the insurer

Calls and letters go through us. You go to your appointments and hearings, and we prepare you first.

  5. 05

Step 5: A decision, then what follows

A judge or the insurer decides. We explain it, and what comes next: payment, an appeal, or going back to work.

What we need from you

  • Keep every paper

Letters, bills, notes and forms. A phone photo is fine.

  • Go to every appointment

A missed visit can be used to cut off benefits.

  • Ask before you sign

That includes anything from the insurer or your employer.

The fee, in plain terms

No fee unless we recover benefits for you. Our fee is a share of what we recover, and the agency that decides your claim sets or approves it.

Case costs, such as medical records, doctor reports and filing charges, are separate. We explain them in writing before you sign, and you may owe them even if no benefits are recovered.

Whenever you want to begin

Tell us what happened. If we are not the right fit, we will say so and point you somewhere useful.

Please don't send confidential details through the form.
